Cortney is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Total Care Clinics with over a decade of nursing experience. A Washington native, she grew up in the Skagit Valley and relocated to the Tri-Cities in 2017 to further her nursing education. She began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2014, became a Registered Nurse in 2019, and most recently completed her Master of Science in Nursing as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner in 2025.
Throughout her career, Cortney has cared for patients in various settings, including long-term care, outpatient dialysis, acute care, and the emergency department. Her time in emergency nursing sparked a strong interest in preventive care and early intervention, motivating her to help patients access the care they need before issues become urgent.
She is passionate about building strong, lasting relationships with her patients and offering a wide range of healthcare options tailored to their needs. Her goal is to provide thoughtful, accessible care that supports long-term wellness and helps reduce avoidable emergency visits.
Outside of work, Cortney enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, especially playing together and taking trips to visit extended family.
